Most colleges have a resource you can use to find other students to study with. This can be found on campus or online, in most cases. You can also attempt to create your own study group, by posting fliers in libraries and on the bulletin on campus. Make sure to identify which subject it’s for, so it’s not a mixed group. Studying with others can be beneficial, especially when others get something you don’t – they can help explain in a way you can understand.

Find a Comfortable Place to Study
Not to mention this location should also be quiet. You don’t want to have to worry about many distractions, so you can remain focused. This means finding a place where your friends aren’t. This can be the library, if you’re comfortable with sitting down at a desk and chair the entire time. Some people like to relax on their bed or on a bench at the park. You can even roll out a blanket by a serene lake to study on. It’s whatever helps you to relax – but not too much, you want to be able to stay awake.

Get Lots of Rest
It doesn’t matter how organized your schedule is and how many times a week you go to a group study – if you’re not well-rested, then you’re going to have issues with concentrating and remembering the things you’re going over. It is nearly impossible to have a good study session when you keep zoning out and nodding off. Make sure that you are getting at least seven hours of sleep each night and eat a healthy breakfast, so you can have true energy to get through whatever tasks you must get through that day.
