While we have to say that Bruges is the most visited city in Belgium, also known as the Venice of the North where getting lost in its streets and canals at night is wonderful. Yes, we forget Brussels , only to see the Grand Place both day and night is worth the visit.
Midi-Pyrenees in 4 days
One of the most unknown and beautiful areas of all France, with towns that seem anchored in time as Albi, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Rocamadour, Conques or Belcastel. The best way to visit them is by car, stopping in each town, landscape or viewpoint that we are finding on the way. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best escapes in Europe , either at Easter or at any other time of the year.
Stockholm in 4 days
One of the cities that has exceeded all our expectations, has been the capital of Sweden. Stockholm is a modern city but it still has an impressive Old Town, known as Gamla Stan. With its parks, museums, green spaces and canals, which make it one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Stockholm becomes a perfect destination for a getaway. By the way, you can not miss the Stockholm metro , where many of its stations look like works of art.
Tuscany in 4 days, one of the best escapes in Europe
Tuscany is for us one of the best trips in Europe of 4 or 5 days that you can do. With those days you can take a flight to Pisa, if you are attentive there are flights for 20 euros round trip, like many of the offers that we publish in Mejorvuelo, rent a car and travel a good part of the towns and landscapes of one of the areas most beautiful in Italy, without forgetting its spectacular cuisine. But there are other places near the monument that you can not miss, such as the beautiful spa town of Bath, where touring the city where Jane Austen lived is also an incentive in this getaway. It is also worth knowing the city of Salisbury and its famous Cathedral. We can use Bristol as the entrance and exit of the trip, since from there it is easy to travel to all the points by train.

Amsterdam, the city where everything is allowed, the city of bicycles, canals, diamonds, the Venice of the Netherlands … All these names are not great for one of our favorite cities in Europe. If you have several days to see Amsterdam, you can travel by train or bus and visit some of the beautiful surrounding villages such as Volendam, Marken, Edam or Zaanse Schans, the village of windmills.

Another of the most chosen destinations when we think of the best escapes in Europe is Lisbon. Visit its charismatic Alfama district, listen to fados, visit the Sé or Cathedral of Lisbon, see the Carmo Convent, climb the Castle of San Jorge, enjoy the tram 28, look out at some of the spectacular viewpoints of the city, take the tram the famous Barrio de Belén with its Monastery of the Jerónimos, the Torre de Belém and of course, taste the typical Pasteis de Belém are just some of the things that Lisbon will give you , one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Bavaria in 4 days
Visiting the Neuschwanstein Castle is already enough reason to make a trip to Bavaria , although we must bear in mind that this area of southern Germany is already worth a trip. One of the closest airports is Munich, a city to which we can dedicate a day to visit and which, we assure you, is worthwhile. From there we can rent a car and go to the Neuschwanstein Castle visiting towns such as Fussen or the fairytale town of Oberammergau, with its impressive paintings on the facades of their houses.
Budapest in 4 days
Budapest, is another of the great destinations that surely, after knowing it, it becomes one of the 10 best escapes in Europe . This is one of our favorite cities in Europe to travel both day and night. Crossing the Chain Bridge and climbing at sunset to the Fisherman’s Bastion in Buda, with incredible views of the entire city and its Parliament, is one of the many wonders that Budapest offers . Switzerland in 5 days
A getaway to Switzerland never disappoints. The combination of high mountain landscapes, lakes, waterfalls, castles and beautiful villages make it irresistible. A good way to get around part of Switzerland is to take a flight to Geneva and rent a car there. We can make a route visiting the Chillon Castle, Gruyeres, Friborg, stopping one day in Bern and another day in the Interlanken area, full of lakes and dominated by great mountains, which will give us one of the most beautiful landscapes of this area. Nearby is the wonderful Lauterbrunnen valley, one of the sour cherries of this European getaway. We can finish the trip by reaching Lucerna, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland.
